(Right, let's start with this. I LOVE Latin football and ''all
that''. Last fixture today and only the Brazilians can
smile as they have qualified ages ago. The rest of them
.... is a different story. Six teams will throw everything
they got today in an attempt to make it to the next round
but only 3 spots are available.
Paraguay - Venezuela Playing at home and for such a
crucial game, ideally the Paraguayans should win that
game easily and with some luck in other games' results,
they could ''snick in'' the 3rd or 4th spot and see them
qualified. Hold on! We' re talking about Paraguay and
one of the most ''unreliable'' teams when are playing at
home.
The visitors on the other hand has been an ''oasis'' for
the bookies lately and although at bottom of the leader-
board, we have seen them drew 3 consecutive times
against top teams as Colombia, Argentina and Uruguay. Some teams simply don't
give up and from what I have heard, they have no intentions to make the life of Paraguay
easy in today's game.
The Bookies - 1.40 maximum is the price for Paraguay and I simply say: ''thank you but NO thank you Bookies'', for the reasons explained above. (Won)
The Value - I expect a tough and low score game. 2-3 goals is my estimate and I find good value in this market. In Betfair's Sportsbook the price is available as high as 1.90 at the moment. (Lost)
Ecuador - Argentina The hosts prove to us once again that: ''Impossible is nothing''.
After they suffered five losses in a row, finally managed to knock themselves out of the
competition. Incredible! Will they increase the record to six losses today?
The ''Multi Million'' worth team of Argentina find themselves with the back on the wall!
Spiderman is not going to save them this time unless they decide to play some serious
football and grab the points of win! BUT... would that be enough? Nope! They are still
depending on other games results and it would be such an emotional site to watch those Multimillions of worth players celebrating with tears in eyes, their advance to the next
round. (apologies for the sarcasm).
The Bookies - 1.45 maximum is the price for the away team's win and.... I don't like it folks.
I do agree with the Argentinian's win though. (Won)
The Value - One way or another Argentina should win this game with 2-3 goals final score.(Won)

Peru - Colombia (Mr Sherlock Goal's game of the day)
Game is on! Peruvians are on a roll and unbeaten in the last 5 games. They are so close
now to qualify but in their way is the all time ''demon'' Colombia, who they have never
managed to win over since 2004 in a formal match! Can they break the deadlock?
Colombians can only blame themselves and they need a win to ensure advance to the next stage of this competition. H2H is on their side but not the current form statistics.
The Bookies - Give slight advantage to the home team but the trend has changed and start favouring the Colombians in today's game. I am ruling out the away win to be honest although history disagrees with me but not the current form. (Won)
The Value - If this game was not the last of this round, I would bet ''blindly'' the draw
however, that could be a catastrophic result for both teams today! Although I think Draw is
a strong choice in this game, I find great value in Over 2.5 goals market as both teams
intend to play open and attacking football from the very start. (Lost)

Uruguay - Bolivia The hosts ''unexpectedly'' drew last week and it was a goalless one against the ''mighty'' Venezuela, when Bolivia showed to Brazilians ''who's the boss at
home''. Uruguay is the only team with a clear two points advantage on the 2nd spot of the leader-board.
The Bookies - would give us a price of 1.01 if it was up to them but given the recent
performances of Bolivia, extended the courtesy to 1.20 maximum. Yep, hands up I can't
see Uruguay messing up in this game. (Won)
The Value - I really can't see anything going wrong for the hosts in this game and if you
don't mind the ridiculously low price in match odds, then by all means go ahead with this. You know am not a ''fan'' of low prices so I ll choose the Over 1.5 goals in the first half.
More likely the hosts would like to set things right from the start of the game but wouldn't be surprised if Bolivia scores first. (Won)

Brazil - Chile Many rumours about this game whether the Brazilians will continue to
''dropping gears'' and ruin the chances of Argentina or prove what the Brazilian football
federation say: ''Brazil plays for Brazil''! Some players are not stressed out though.
Top Brazilians stars Neymar and Alves spotted out on Sunday night, meeting the legends Ronaldo and Nene over a drink or MORE!
Chile will be tested today away from their ''stronghold'' but we all know that away games
are not their ''forte''. A draw or loss would ruin their chances to qualify!
The Bookies - Offer up to a mighty 1.77 price for the hosts' win when they play at home and apparently with nearly full squad!! My spies inform me that only 2 players from the
bench will come in to the first 11's squad. The question is... Why the bookies offer such a
high price?
The Value - Do you really have to bet on this game? Just watch and enjoy it! This is awesome value!
